• Wednesday 28th February 2007 - Website Launch - At 7pm we have the launch of our new company website at our offices at Birr Technology Centre. There will be refreshments served and we are hoping that this will be an opportunity for the local community and businesses to network. The Archaeology Company will be running bi-annual conferences to support CPD within the profession.

‘Every Heart is Freedoms Shield’ - Approaches to Conflict Archaeology 2007
This Conference is being held at The Battle of Aughrim Centre and is being run over two days so that a guided tour of the Battlefield can be included. The tour, entrance and introduction to the Interpretative Centre as well as all refreshments including a buffet lunch, is included. The interpretative centre is opening specifically for us on those two days, and we also have a very distinguished guest, Mr. Ben Maile who will give a brief introduction about his battlefield art. Ben very kindly gave us permission to use his imagery on our promotional material. Speakers We have some of the most distinguished and eminent experts in this field, from Scotland and Ireland and this promises to be a really exciting and interesting event.
